As a Paid Search Strategist at our Digital Marketing agency, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our portfolio of PPC clients. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around driving targeted ads, optimising campaigns, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional results to our clients. Your expertise in Google Ads, strong communication skills, and proactive approach will be instrumental in building strong client relationships and achieving the agency's growth objectives.


  • Portfolio Management: Effectively manage and grow our existing portfolio of PPC customers by optimising their campaigns, ensuring performance targets are met, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • New Customer Acquisition: Actively seek new PPC customers to expand and sustain our client base. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential leads and deliver compelling pitches to prospective clients.
  • Audience Creation: Develop and implement audience targeting strategies to deliver highly targeted ads that align with clients' specific goals and objectives.
  • Brand and Goal Understanding: Acquire a deep understanding of each customer's brand, industry, and unique business goals to tailor PPC campaigns accordingly.
  • Customer Communication: Regularly communicate campaign results, performance changes, and enhancements to clients. Provide clear and insightful reports to showcase the impact of PPC efforts.
  • A/B Split Testing: Design and run A/B split tests to analyse ad performance, identify trends, and create more effective and optimised ads.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant keywords, uncover opportunities, and ensure campaigns are targeting the right audience.
  • Creativity and Originality: Ability to craft compelling and original copy that aligns with the brand's tone of voice and resonates with the target audience. The candidate should be adept at generating innovative ideas for ad copies and content that stand out in the crowded digital landscape.


  • Commercial Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in managing PPC campaigns in a professional environment, preferably at a digital marketing agency.
  • Google Ads Proficiency: Strong expertise in Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords) is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of campaign setup, optimisation, and analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members. Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: A proactive and self-driven attitude is crucial in identifying opportunities, taking initiative, and delivering outstanding results for our clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyse campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimise PPC efforts.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and willing to work closely with other team members to achieve collective goals.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Other Channels: Familiarity with other PPC platforms such as Microsoft Advertising
  • Google Analytics: Knowledge of Google Analytics to analyse website performance and user behaviour
  • PPC Tools: Knowledge of PPC Tools to assist in day-to-day management of campaigns
